Art in Arnold Hall
Arnold Hall houses dozens of unique art pieces including painting, sculptures, and pieces of the building's architecture.
In these works, viewers will find examples of after image, focal point, repetition, and more.
I have selected three of my personal favorites that represent some type of design element.
This piece, titled Miss Recess, was done by Debrah Oden using intaglio and screen print. It is a great example of texture on the canvas.

Pieces 1, 5, and 7 of Twenty of Us by Katherine Sandoz offers an interesting element of containment.

Goodbye Savannah by Michael Porten shows the element of saturation within the colors of the painting. These pieces were later enlarged and mounted on Plexiglass for presentation.
